JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a series that follows the story of the Joestar family across many generations, with each part focusing on a different main character from the family and their unique journey. The series is known for its high-stakes action, unique Stand abilities, and bizarre situations, as the Joestar bloodline fights against villains ranging from a mischievous vampire to a high-security prison's priest who can steal memories.

In 19th Century England, Jonathan Joestar (JoJo) was the sole heir of his family's fortune until his father adopted a young man named Dio Brando, who became jealous of JoJo's wealth and constantly sought to hurt him. Dio's actions, such as kissing JoJo's girlfriend, incinerating his dog, and stealing a stone mask that would turn him into a vampire with supernatural powers, culminated in him burning down the Joestar mansion. To defeat Dio, JoJo learned to harness the power of the sun through an ancient breathing technique known as Hamon.

Subsequent parts of the story follow the Joestar line, with Joseph Joestar, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar, becoming the new JoJo in the 1930s. Joseph must strengthen his Hamon abilities to defeat the Pillar Men, who created the stone mask used by Dio. Along the way, he meets a Hamon coach named Lisa Lisa and Caesar Zeppeli, the grandson of Jonathan Joestar's Hamon coach.

The Joestar family's battle with Dio continues in Stardust Crusaders, set in Japan in the 1980s. Jotaro Kujo, the grandson of Joseph Joestar, develops a strange ability called a Stand, which is the physical manifestation of one's resolve. Jotaro and Joseph venture to Egypt to finally put an end to the multi-generational battle.

Diamond is Unbreakable takes place in Morioh, Japan during the summer of 1999 and follows Josuke Higashikata, Joseph Joestar's estranged son. Josuke has a strong connection to his Stand, Shining Diamond, and joins Jotaro in the fight against serial killer Yoshikage Kira and his Stand, Deadly Queen.

Giorno Giovanna, who inherited his Stand and Joestar bloodline from his father, Dio, has the honor of the Joestar line and aims to infiltrate the gang Passione based out of Naples, Italy, to ensure the safety of local children. Giorno's journey is filled with difficult decisions as he and his gang, including Bruno, Narancia, Abbachio, Mista, Fugo, and Bruno, face unexpected challenges.

Finally, Stone Ocean revolves around Jolyne Cujoh, the daughter of Jotaro, and her time at a Florida high-security prison in 2011. Jotaro visits Jolyne, giving her the key to unlocking her Stand, Stone Ocean, and informs her that she must break free because Dio's servant, Father Pucchi, is doing everything he can to ensure Jolyne doesn't leave the prison alive.
